We look forward to exciting times in 2025. Working with the dynamic team at Rocket Yard Sports (https://rocketyardsports.com/) we begin the year with the launch of our new website at www.egd.com.
In January you will see our staging maps and graphics on the DP World Tour International Swing at the Team Cup, Ras Al Khaimah Championship and the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship. The Bahrain Championship is once again played at the Royal Golf Club, designed in association with Colin Montgomerie.
In the UK we continue our upgrade programmes at Foxhills Country Club, at JCB Golf & Country Club and at Wentworth Club where the works on the East course renovation will finish in the spring. As well as other upgrade works in Scotland and England, in Ireland we are working on the next phase of work at Portstewart GC and nearing completion of the redesigned La Grande Mare Golf Club, situated on the scenic west coast of Guernsey.
Team EGD are also busy across Europe with new designs and renovation projects underway including construction work on the Annika Golf Course at Estonian Golf & Country Club which will resume in spring. Our portfolio in the Middle East keeps on expanding with a new course in Dubai soon to be completed and open for play. In total, we’ll be working in at least eleven countries this summer.
Having become the world’s first certified carbon neutral golf course design company some years ago, we continue our sustainability drive in 2025, rigorously logging and offsetting our footprint through our partnership with GEO Foundation (https://www.sustainable.golf/).
With both a Past President and the current Vice President among our 6 Members and Candidate Members, our team proudly stands as one of the most well-represented companies within the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (https://www.eigca.org/), reflecting our ongoing commitment to leadership and excellence in golf course design.
We are EGD.
