The Brief
In collaboration with Colin Montgomerie, we were entrusted with designing an 18-hole golf course in Belek, near Antalya, Turkey. Our goal was to create a world-class golfing experience in this renowned resort area.
The Site
The course stretches across 104 hectares of scenic mixed pine forest and sandy ridges. We carefully preserved the site’s natural beauty, enhancing the unique features of the landscape to create a course that feels in harmony with its environment.
The Course
The resort boasts one of the most impressive clubhouses in Belek, complete with a 30-meter tower offering panoramic views of the course and surrounding area. This championship 18-hole course is the centerpiece of a 200 million-euro golf and hotel complex, which also includes a floodlit 9-hole short course, a golf academy, a 600-room five-star hotel, and 31 luxurious holiday villas.
Status
The course officially opened in September 2008 and proudly hosted the Turkish Open in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
